Since 1985, COMgroup has provided Microsoft with complete telecommunications system design, consulting and management services. In addition to communications infrastructure design and new construction administration services, projects for Microsoft include:
 

  • Designed computer, PBX, cable, machine and communications entrance rooms, interior and exterior cable pathways, vaults and raceways
  • Supported technical systems in these spaces with structured cabling and wireless systems. Includes all administrative and development servers, control rooms, workstations, networks, controls and alarms, analog/digital video, multi-mode and single-mode fiber, SONET, ATM and CATV
  • Provided design and administration of voice, data and video cabling and wireless systems
  • Assisted with carrier circuit extensions from the demarcation point to the customer interface
  • Provided infrastructure design and construction administration for initial establishment and subsequent expansions and replacements of headquarters campuses and over 100 field offices throughout the U.S. and Canada. Provided services to three out of four major office campuses outside of Redmond, WA and over 50 international sales and development offices throughout the world
  • Designed and developed lab LANs and special systems
  • Designed, configured and assisted in selection of the ACD system
  • Designed and assisted in the selection and configuration of an enterprise-wide Intecom PBX system
  • Provided CAD drawing archiving administration development and publications of infrastructure construction standards
